Project Overview

The Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport Metro Line (SSTOM Package) is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project that will deliver six new stations, a train maintenance depot at Orchard Hills, signalling and electrical systems, and a fleet of driverless trains. Spanning 23 km between St. Marys and Western Sydney Aerotropolis, this metro expansion will transform travel in Western Sydney, supporting regional growth and employing thousands during construction. Webuild, as part of the Parklife Metro Consortium (alongside Plenary Group, Siemens Mobility, and RATP Dev), will construct, operate, and maintain the line for 15 years under a commission from the NSW and Federal governments.
